Glossary
Short explanations of the technologies Vinipuch runs on and the privacy concepts behind them — in plain language, without exaggeration.
What is an encrypted tunnel?
An encrypted tunnel in plain words: how a protected connection works, what it changes for privacy and what it does not do. How Vinipuch uses the tunnel.
What is VLESS?
VLESS is a lightweight data transfer protocol for access clients. How it differs from other protocols and why Vinipuch runs it on sing-box.
What is Reality?
Reality is a transport profile over TLS 1.3 for protected connections: server verification by public key, with no certificates to issue or maintain.
What is traffic encryption?
Traffic encryption in plain words: what exactly is protected inside the tunnel, where protection starts and ends, and what TLS 1.3 is.
What is online privacy?
Online privacy: what data sites and services collect about you, what data minimization is, and how Vinipuch applies it.
What is a remote profile?
A sing-box remote profile: the personal Connect link. The client pulls servers itself. The link is access.
What is the Vinipuch ruble balance?
Top up first, then debit a plan. No card auto-charge. Cash refunds are not available.
What is SBP in Vinipuch?
SBP is a way to top up the ruble balance when it is available in the bot or the cabinet. It is not a card subscription.
What is plan quota?
Plan quota counts bytes for a period and does not roll over. Bought extra traffic follows a different rule. Numbers live on the card.
What is SFI?
iPhone and iPad: official sing-box client for Vinipuch. Where to install it, and why it is not a device slot.
What is SFA?
Android: official sing-box client for Vinipuch. Where to install it, and why it is not a device slot.
What is SFW?
Windows: official sing-box client for Vinipuch. Where to install it, and why it is not a device slot.
What is SFM?
macOS: official sing-box client for Vinipuch. Where to install it, and why it is not a device slot.
What is SFL?
Linux: official sing-box client for Vinipuch. Where to install it, and why it is not a device slot.
What does DNS mean in the Vinipuch policy?
Vinipuch does not record user DNS queries. That is not absolute no-logs. The full list is in the logging policy.
